Well the group has finally crossed into 88 degrees south latitude!!!! Things have gotten colder but we get some good days as well. We don’t know for sure yet but are hoping for 8 more days to reach the pole. We have one day tomorrow left with the rough surface of wind features and then we hope to break free and put the half skins on our skis and just motor for 9 hours each of the remaining days until getting to the South Pole. Time to wrap this thing up. Group remains positive and keeps forging ahead!
