Dawa Finjo Sherpa
Finjo was born in Lukla, the gateway of the majestic mountains of the Khumbu Valley and Mt. Everest. He began his guiding career in 2010 and has since worked in a variety of different areas of the Nepal Himalayas. He has led numerous climbing expeditions to the trekking peaks of Nepal. In addition, he has climbed in the Karakoram Himalaya of Pakistan on K2 in 2023 and the Swiss Alps in 2017.
Finjo has already completed his basic and advanced mountaineering courses with both basic and advanced level of ice climbing courses in Nepal. He has summited Mt. Everest 3 times and his first summit was from North Ridge in China. He has many more summits of peaks above 6000m. Finjo was a primary climbing guide for blind veteran client Lonnie Bedwell from the United States when we summited Mt. Everest on May 22, 2023. His incredible patience and guidance have played a vital role to many climbers, enabling them to accomplish lifetime achievements.
He lives in Lukla, Nepal.

Dave has been working as a professional guide for over fifteen years. His experience includes working as lead staff trainer for Outward Bound, Patagonia Program Director, and Director of Safety. Dave has developed a deep understanding of risk management and how to safely deliver mountain expeditions.
Dave is well versed in alpine, rock, and ice climbing, having trained with the American Mountain Guides Association.
Additionally, Dave is a certified American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) Level II and Wilderness First Responder.
Dave’s guiding resume includes multiple trips to Vinson, Aconcagua, Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, Ama Dablam, Gasherbrum II, Rocky Mountains and Cascades. Dave was recognized by the Pakistan Military for his role in a rescue from high on Gasherbrum II in 2007.
Dave has B.S. degrees in Environmental Science and a M.S. in Natural Resource Management. He lives in Boulder, CO.
