Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to our comfortable luxury hotel in Thamel, the Aloft Hotel by Marriott, where the adventure begins.
Day 02 - Explore Kathmandu: Enjoy a day in Nepal’s vibrant capital, organize personal gear, and join the team for a welcome dinner and expedition briefing.
Day 03 - Helicopter to Sama Goan – (3,525m): Take a helicopter flight to Sama Goan, at the base of Manaslu. This is a direct flight saving the long trek into the area.
Day 04 - Rest Day: Relax in the Teahouse at Sama Goan.
Day 05 - Acclimatization in Sama Goan: Spend the day acclimatizing with short hikes and visits to local sites, soaking in views of Manaslu and surrounding peaks.
Day 06 - Final Packing and Organizing: We are now fully rested and acclimated and we prepare to trek up to base camp the following day.
Day 07 - Trek to Manaslu Base Camp (4,800m): Ascend through open valleys with breathtaking views of the hills before reaching the high-altitude base camp location where our team of Sherpa staff have set up a wonderful camp.
Day 08 - Rest Day in Base Camp: Move in to your personal tent and relax at Base Camp.
Day 09 - Rest Day and prepare: We will likely do a Puja Ceremony on this day as you later prepare for the climb.
Day 10-25 - Climbing Period: Climbing Period on the Mountain, following the climb high and sleep low mentality we will utilize up to 4 camps on the mountain.
Day 26 - Rest and Pack Camp: Rest at Base Camp after reaching the summit. Begin to pack up personal belongings.
Day 27 - Trek down to Sama Goan: Trek down to Sama Goan, overnight in the lodge.
Day 28- Helicopter to Kathmandu: Flight back to Kathmandu to celebrate and shop for gifts and enjoy our team
celebrations.

On mountain meals require your own personal cup, bowl, spoon setup as on other high altitude climbs.

Safety and First Aid

Our guides carry VHF radios, a satellite phone, and a comprehensive first aid kit equipped with high-altitude medications and emergency oxygen. Communications

Stay connected with solar panel access and satellite phone availability for emergencies. Enjoy free Wi-Fi at basecamp and at camps on the upper mountain, powered by Starlink.

For ultimate convenience, our helicopter departure from Kathmandu to/from Sama Goan, ensuring a swift and scenic trip to Manaslu.

What's Not Included

International flights to/from Kathmandu International Airport

The cost of your international flights to and from (KTM) Airport, is not included in the expedition price. This means you are responsible for researching, booking, and covering the expenses of your flights from your home country (or starting location) to Nepal and your return journey after the expedition concludes.

Alcoholic drinks and personal snacks on Trek

You are responsible for drinks or any personal snacks for the trek into base camp, we provide all main meals with hot drinks.

Personal travel insurance

Team members on the Manaslu expedition are required to have rescue/evacuation insurance. Upon signing up, we provide a list of recommended insurance providers that specialize in covering climbing trips, ensuring you're fully protected for the journey.

Personal clothing & gear

Team members are responsible for arriving with the required personal clothing and equipment for the expedition. Upon signing up, we provide a detailed gear list and are always available to offer advice or answer any questions about what to bring, ensuring you're fully prepared for the journey.

Personal expenses

Personal expenses include any small purchases in Kathmandu or on the trek, such as extra snacks, supplies, or taxis.
