Final Prep & Relaxation Day
A free day for last-minute preparations, gear adjustments, or simply resting before heading to the ice.
Fly to Union Glacier, Antarctica
Weather permitting, we fly 4 hours south to Union Glacier, landing on a stunning blue-ice runway. After setting up camp, we settle into our first night on the continent.
Acclimatization & Ski Prep
A full day on the ice to test our systems, ski around camp, and adapt to the Antarctic environment before the expedition begins in earnest.
Flight into 89° South & Begin Skiing
We fly by Twin Otter aircraft to 89°S, 60 nautical miles from the South Pole. After landing, we begin our journey with a short ski to establish camp.
Ski to the South Pole
Over the course of roughly 6 - 7 days, we ski across the polar plateau toward the geographic South Pole. Expect stunning silence, vast horizons, and a deep sense of accomplishment as we near our goal.
Return to Union Glacier
We board our aircraft and fly back to Union Glacier Camp to celebrate our achievement with a hot meal and well-earned rest and showers.
Return to Puntas Arenas
Once the weather window opens, we fly back to Punta Arenas. After a hot shower, we gather for a celebratory dinner to toast the journey.
End of Expedition - Depart for Home
With unforgettable memories in tow, guests depart for home or onward travel.
ITINERARY
Day 07
Rest and Acclimatize
Paju is like an Oasis in the desert. Here we have one day rest under the shade trees and use the time for acclimatization. From here we will have view of Great Trango Tower.
Day 01
Arrival in Islamabad, Pakistan
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport and transfer to our comfortable luxury hotel, the Islamabad Marriott, where the adventure begins.
Day 02
Fly to Skardu
We will take an early morning flight to Skardu and move into our comfortable hotel to begin preparations.
Day 03
Rest Day Skardu
Open day in Skardu for final preparations.
Day 04
Transfer to Askole
Travel by 4 x 4 Jeep to Askole, the last village at the end of the rugged road and the trail that leads all the way to Broad Peak. Camping in Askole Village.
Day 05
Trek to Jhola (3,300m)
Trek along the Braldu River over barren land surrounded by the incredible mountain scenery. Jolha is located on the banks of Dumurdo at an altitude of 3,300 meters and a day walking distance is 6 to 7 hours, overnight in camp.
Day 06
Trek to Paiyu (3,400m)
The trail alternates between the riverbed and terraces above crossing boulder fields and side streams. En route we take in the views of Paiju peak 6,600 meters and the Cathedral Towers 6,017 meters. Paiju is located at 3,425 meters and walking distance is 6 to 7 hours, overnight in camp.
Day 19
Fly to Islamabad
Fly from Skardu to Islamabad. Return to Marriott Hotel
Day 20
Contingency Day
Extra Day for Delays or need to drive from Skardu.
Day 21
Return Home
Airport Transfer for your onward flight home.
Day 08
Trek to (4,050m)
It is the longest walk in the whole trek. After 30 minutes of walk we will approach the snout of Baltoro Glacier. En route the view of Uli Biaho (6,200 meters), Name Less Tower 6200meters), Lobsang (6000meters), Urdukus (6,800 meters), Urdukus is located at an altitude of 4,050 meters, 8 to 9 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day 09
Trek to Goro 2 Camp (4,382m)
The trail descents and goes out to the glacier middle. En route the view of Masherbrum (7821meters), Gasherbrum-IV (7952meters) m. Goro II is located at the altitude 4382 meters. 6 to 7 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day 10
Trek to Concordia (4,650m)
Now we are entering in the Throne room of Mountains God Concordia at the altitude of 4650meters where the Godwin Austin Glacier meets the upper Baltoro glacier. Here we have the Majestic view of K-2 (8,611meters) and Broad peak (8,048meters), Ghogolisa (7,765meters), Gasherbrum-IV (7,952meters), Golden Throne (7,004meters) and countless lofty peaks. 4 to 5 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day 11
Trek to Broad Peak Base Camp (4,900m)
6-7 Hours. Spend the evening at the base of Broad Peak and meet climbers from all over the world attempting to climb the peak. Over night in tents.
Day 12
Trek to K2 Base Camp
Spend the evening at the base of K2 and meet climbers
from all over the world attempting to climb the peak. Overnight in tents.
Day 13 - 17
Trek down from Base Camp
During this 5 day period, the team will reverse course and descend back down the valley, ultimately arriving to Askole.
Day 18
Drive to Skardu
Drive to Skardu in the 4 x 4 vehicles and overnight in the Concordia Hotel.
Pack up our personal items and have one last celebration dinner cooked by our amazing kitchen staff.

Team members on the Broad Peak expedition are required to have rescue/evacuation insurance. Upon signing up, we provide a list of recommended insurance providers that specialize in covering climbing trips, ensuring you're fully protected for the journey.

Cost of Tourist Visa before the trip to Pakistan.
Alcoholic drinks and personal snacks on Trek
You are responsible for drinks or any personal snacks for the trek into base camp, we provide all main meals with hot drinks.
International flights to/from Islamabad
The cost of your international flights to and from (ISB) Airport, is not included in the expedition price. This means you are responsible for researching, booking, and covering the expenses of your flights from your home country (or starting location) to Nepal and your return journey after the expedition concludes.
