June 2026: Our Custom Expedition Reaches the Summit of Denali!
On 28 June 2026, Mountain Professionals successfully guided a custom expedition to the summit of Denali, North America's highest peak. The private expedition brought together three climbers—Su Chong, Bill, and Michelle—for a uniquely personalized experience supported by Mountain Professionals guide Juan Escobar and two highly experienced guides from our Denali partner, Alaska Mountaineering School (AMS), Ben Olwell and Will Plovanic.
Private, one-to-one style expeditions on Denali are exceptionally rare, making this ascent a particularly rewarding project for everyone involved. With a high level of guide support, the team worked efficiently throughout the expedition, sharing the responsibilities of load carries, establishing camps, and making thoughtful decisions as they progressed up the mountain. Guided by an experienced leadership team, the expedition moved smoothly from start to finish and ultimately celebrated a successful summit together.

Following this successful season, Mountain Professionals will offer dedicated Denali departures in spring 2027. These expeditions will feature a three-guide team and will be limited to just six climbers, providing the same high level of support and personalized experience that made this year's custom expedition such a success.
